New York Fashion Week has always been a dream of mine. This February my dream was more than reality.

It was a typical Tuesday in January. Coffee at the local spot. Diligently sporting my bed head thrown in a beanie, cozy hoodie, grey sweats and socks with my adidas slides. Going through email after email and scrolling on that IG feed. đŸ˜‰

One standout email caught my eye. From my websites ‘contact me’ page was a letter from Germany. I was intrigued and started breezing through. ‘We would like to send you to New York Fashion Week…’ my eyes darted to the signature of the email – BOSS. It was from the Marketing Director of Hugo BOSS. So much excitement was flooding my body at that moment.

I would be flying to Manhattan and staying at the Soho Grand Hotel. Spending the week visiting showrooms, fashion presentations and of corse – FRONT ROW at the BOSS show.

While in NY, I was part of the new limited black edition of BOSS the fragrance. I’ll post all the details on that later. đŸ˜‰

Seeing behind the scenes for the show was incredible. The ratio of staff to models is about 10 to 1. It literally takes an army to get this production running.

Yellow plays a major role this season. The bright hue among earth tone neutrals makes an impactful landing on the BOSS runway. From bags, to capes and even the soles of the shoes.

Fusing together athletic and menswear to create Sports Tailoring has never been executed better. I love the mix of high tech fabrics alongside cozy wools and knits.

Can’t wait to get my hands on all the goods this fall!

Let me know what you guys think.

Cheers!
